There are always opportunities to do better, to create more, and to grow. With those opportunities, we feel the pressure to continue uplifting communities and protecting our resources. With our growth expanding, we needed to acknowledge another layer of our company’s carbon footprint.
We are mindful of every step of our process_ from our fabrics to the packaging. The reality is that we ship more than we ever have before, and we decided it was imperative to take initiative to offset our carbon emissions by planting trees. Transportation is the world's largest emitter of carbon pollution and is the leading factor in the climate crisis we are facing.
We partnered with EcoDrive to plant mangroves - some of the most effective & efficient trees at sequestering carbon from our air. The mangroves remove the CO2 and convert it to plant matter, as well as supporting the coastal habitats and uplifting local communities from poverty in Madagascar.
We vow to continue to be future-minded and pioneers for protecting the future of this precious planet.
We hope to inspire other companies to do the same_ to think of the Earth not last, but first.
