“Hi, I'm Mia -- the creator behind Red Hat Creative! I take second-hand clothing and textiles and turn them into wearable art through colorful and exciting appliqué designs. I live in beautiful Bozeman, MT, and often draw inspiration for my work from the environment around me and the community in my valley. I am motivated by the thought that by repurposing the materials we already have, I can not only prevent waste that is on its way to the landfill but also inspire others to do the same!”
WHAT DOES RECIPROCITY MEAN TO YOU?
“To me, reciprocity is a trusting relationship between you and your family, friends, community, or even the greater universe, where the support and energy you give is returned with the same amount of love, care, and intention. It is a fluid relationship where both sides give and receive, supporting each other in their needs and desires.”

“I love them all, but I have to say my favorite is the Cinema Pants. I love that they carry a fun whimsy and liveliness, while also playing to a softer energy with the floral design and simple colors!”
