Perfect dress for both warm and cool days. I live in southwest and live in this dress during the summer. Winter time just means throwing leggings or jeans on underneath. It is such a stylish and versatile look. I am 5'10" and the length is just right. Big plus is the pockets!
I love this dress! I wear it all year long- perfect for the summer of course and in the colder months, I put pants under it and/or a sweater over it. It is so comfortable and looks so nice. I am 5’2.5” and 34” bust and the xs size fits just right.
The board walk dress is amazing! The linen is soft and midweight so its light enough on hot days and during the cooler weather its easier to layer with and still stay warm. I like the fit, the bust is slightly for fitting, with out being too constricting, but there is ample room in the wait and hips, making it flowy. The arms aren't tight! I find it hard to get a dress where the arms aren't too tight. AND IT HAS POCKETS! every dress should have pockets, lol. I was lucky enough to snag the spruce color in one of their sample sales, but I am definitely eyeing another color. For reference I'm 5'2, 38 inch bust and 31 inch waist and 39 inch hips and I got the medium.
I bought this dress in the spring of 2021, and I've been really happy with how well it's held up (it's now January 2022). It started to get a little softer with washing, which I like about linen, but it hasn't lost any of its structural integrity. The color (taffy stripe) is extremely cute, unlike any other dresses I have, and the color does not seem to have faded. The linen is a little lighter-weight than a previous season's boardwalk dress in a tan gingham, but I like that and it's definitely still substantive. I am 5'4", around 130lbs, and I bought this dress in (my usual for CC dresses) medium because I like for it to be more loosely fitted around my waist and shoulders. I could definitely wear a small, and I do wear a small in CC jumpsuits.
I got this dress as a treat to myself and I was so happy with it! The fabric is beautiful, and I appreciate the attention to detail in the construction. I love to wear this layered with a sweater over it in chillier months, or it's great on its own when it's warm.
