After receiving your item, please send it back to us within 10 days to be eligible for a return. We process all returns as exchanges for garments or store credit. We do this to encourage our customers to develop mindful purchasing habits and reduce emissions and expenses. Please refer to our returns-as-exchanges policy to begin your return.

We highly recommend reviewing our size guide and measuring yourself before placing an order.

Tour Requests We currently are not taking tour requests. Please check back soon!

Are you local? If you're local to Belmont, Michigan and would like to try on something before purchasing, please reach out! We can coordinate a time for you to stop by.

Turnaround Time Most of our items are made to order. Made-to-order items take three to five weeks to cut, sew, finish, and package. In high-volume seasons, turnaround times can fluctuate.

We have a limited number of in-stock items that ship in 1 week. Please email us to see if your desired item is in stock!

Shipping Time When your order is ready to ship, you will receive a tracking number to the email you used at checkout. We do not have control over shipping times, as this is provided by a third party (USPS or UPS).

CANADIAN SHIPPING TIME is taking longer than usual. Some of our customers have had a smooth experience--receiving their package within a week. Others have had their package tied up in customs for a month. Please keep this in mind as you plan your purchase! In the meantime, we are working on doing what we can to find mail carriers with more consistent shipping times.

If your order hasn't arrived after six weeks, please contact us and we will look into the details.

Location Our studio is located at 5104 7 Mile Rd. Belmont, MI. It is where we design, wash, cut, sew, and ship all our products with the exception of our yoga line, which is sewn in California before shipping from our studio.

How It's Made Our garments are handmade in our beautiful studio in the outskirts of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We proudly make everything by hand - from screen printing our tags to installing the brass snaps, our small team crafts hundreds of garments every week.

All of our clothing is made in the USA.

Yes, if you reach out to us within three days of placing your order. Email us at orders.consciousclothing@gmail.comwith your order number to request your cancellation, and we’ll grant an immediate refund.

We no longer have the capacity to fulfill custom requests. Thank you for respecting our time and processes!

We recommend washing your clothes with cold water, either by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. This will help preserve the color and increase the longevity of the garment. It is best to lay the garment flat or hang it to dry. If you’re machine drying, tumble dry on low. All of our fabrics are pre-washed to avoid shrinkage.

Learn about our favorite sustainable laundry tips!

We make a concerted effort to use sustainable fabrics for all of our garments. We source our materials from reputable facilities that model the same ethical standards that we adhere to. All of our fabric is made from natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and hemp:

  • Organic cotton is soft and gentle on your skin. Organic cotton uses less water and releases less carbon dioxide into the environment than conventional cotton. It also uses natural pesticides instead of synthetic chemicals.
  • Linen is highly breathable and long-lasting. Linen fabrics are made with flax fibers. Flax is similar to hemp in the ways they are grown and cultivated as well as their durability. Linen fibers are biodegradable, produce very little lint, and can be worn year-round.
  • Hemp is highly versatile and sustainable and is one of the strongest fibers in the world. It’s known for growing quickly in any climate. Hemp doesn’t exhaust the soil, use a lot of water, or require chemical pesticides. Hemp fabric is highly absorbent, conducts heat well, and is abrasion-resistant.
